We a rain shower this early this morning. It freshened everything up for the rest of the day. When I went outside rain droplets were still hanging from many tree leaves and some fruit. I thought the droplets made this fig look so fresh.
Trees
Everything is so fresh out in the woods now. The flowers are blooming, plants of all kinds are sprouting up, and the trees are growing new leaves. I photographed these freshly sprouted wildflowers earlier this morning.
I’ve always loved trees. I photographed this one in Alabama’s Lake Guntersville St. Park during our hike this morning. It sure was refreshing to get out into the woods.
Some of the bark on one of our older apple trees is covered with tree fungus. The apple tree was here when we moved into this house, so I have no way of knowing exactly how old it is. It still produces yummy apples though.
I found this bark pattern on our flower and cherry tree yesterday. After taking several shots, I managed to create a nice photo.
How holly tree still has a few of its beautiful red berries left. They look so gorgeous!
These towering apple branches looked so beautiful in front of the clear blue sky. I thought they might make a nice photo.
I captured these drops of sap tricking down the side of a pine tree in my back yard.
